Yes, they are, though I still can't look at that photo. Poe is in there too. That little black kitty is one of my favorite strays as well, she's always so cuddly. -After this picture got taken, she just got up and ran towards me.-
Hehe you deserve the praise! Maybe one day I'll go up there and help the strays :3 Ah animals just have the most incredible and adoring personalities don't they? It amazes me how forgiving and caring they can be even when they had a terrible things done to them, or have grown up on the streets.
I couldn't agree more with you. That's what I love in them; they live for the present, the can show you their love in the simplest but most meaningful ways, they entrust their lives in your hands..and all they ask is just plenty of love, a place to sleep and something to eat.
Yeah. If only humans could learn to love like an animal. That would really change the world in the most positive of ways. It angers me how people misunderstand animals and their stereotypes. Cats are not heartless. Dogs are not aggressive, unless you raise them to fear people. So many humans look down on them because of this. They didn't ask for this. They just want someone to love, and will love them back. Someone to care, and care back. I wish for there to be more people in the world that understand. Also, thank you for watching me! I will also watch you back because I love all your adorable cat photographs!
I agree. I live in an area where people -many people- still believe that black cats will bring misfortune. So just from this, you probably understand the situation I'm in. You can't even imagine what I've been told, how much hateful people can become just because I want to help animals. It's sad. In most cases, animals are so much better company than humans. I also wish the same. Maybe one day the world will turn into a more animal friendly, better place. ♥ And. Thank you very much, I'm glad you like my photography, dear!
Yes, I've heard of shelters and pet stores not allowing people to adopt black cats on Halloween because they are scared people will burn and torture them because of the rumors that black cats bring misfortune. My mom absolutely does not like cats because she thinks they don't care at all and only stick around because you feed them. :/ at least she likes dogs. She understands them. Sometimes my pets are my first priority. My parents say if the house catches on fire, to leave the dogs and let them escape on their own. I can't imagine leaving them, because Ginny (one of my pups) would probably die from an extreme panic attack.(she's terrified of anything new) My other dog, Daisy, is 8 years old and is an old lady. She can't move around as easily and would probably die too. (She is long haired and would probably be very flammable)
Oh my..that sounds terrible. I thought the lowlifes here were the only people that actually believed this. I know the feeling, my family doesn't like animals as well. Well they wouldn't hurt one, they just don't want them inside the house. -Good think I live on my own.- Dogs and cats just have totally different ways of showing you their love. I had dogs, I have two cats, and I can reassure you. My two cats will know immediately if I'm sad, and they'll come and lay on me, purring and looking me in the eyes. Once I was too sick and I had started to hallucinating and losing contact with reality, and they kept licking my face and biting me softly so I wouldn't lose my senses. I'm sure you wouldn't leave your dogs behind. If my house was caught on fire, the first thing I'd do would be to take Rudy and Alaska out, no matter what.
It's alright, don't worry. cx By the way, I love your dogs names! ♥
Yes, they are some of the kittens that survived two attempts of poisoning that took away the lives of about 40 animals. The black one is probably the most friendly cat in the whole city, she would do anything for some attention. I feel kinda sad for not being able to do anything better for them, but at least I can give them food and water, and of course love. That's what they need the most, in my opinion.
